As an African-American male, I would prefer not to be another measurement: another dark male that doesn't move on from secondary school. Numerous people that have experienced a type of battle in life more often than not have quite recently abandoned what is generally significant. Not me. At thirteen years old, I had a stroke which changed my life until the end of time. Before the stroke I used to be a genuine credulous individual; I used to put stock in whatever individuals let me know. All I needed to do was play football and that's it. After the stroke, I began to acknowledge there are a bigger number of things in life than simply focusing on a certain something. I went from an understudy getting 65ââ¬â¢s and 70ââ¬â¢s to getting 80ââ¬â¢s and 90ââ¬â¢s. As is commonly said, ââ¬Å"Nothing is more terrible than squandered talent.â⬠The stroke caused me to feel unreliable and I had a great deal of incredulity. My philanthropy permitted me to arrive at my maximum capacity. The acknowledgment of practically turning into a disappointment in life started something in my cerebrum to not surrender. Something else that spurs me is seeing what individuals experience in the emergency clinic. In the emergency clinic I collaborated with individuals that were in far unexpected circumstances in comparison to I was. It made me fully aware of the reality individuals were as yet certain about a portion of the circumstances they were in regardless of the reality they were experiencing radical occasions throughout everyday life. This is a case of being a helpful, ââ¬Å"Acceptance of each person for obviously simply being another human.â⬠Taking everything into account, I have taken in a great deal from the troubles and adversities throughout my life. In spite of the fact that I didn't anticipate numerous adjustments throughout my life, I had the option to change in accordance with them and make the best of my circumstances.

An analysis f Jevons' Theory of Women's Employment Essay
An investigation f Jevons' Theory of Women's Employment - Essay Example Despite what might be expected, menââ¬â¢s interest in the work advertise has never been tested by defenders of the neoclassical convention. Such suspicions push financial specialists to see ladies as reliant creatures. This paper examines Jevonsââ¬â¢s hypothesis of womenââ¬â¢s business, and the natural defects of his contentions. Diagram According to Pigou, the essential premise of womenââ¬â¢s work is the work profit of their better half. In like manner, Becker contends that ladies search for work as a result of a ââ¬Ëhousehold decisionââ¬â¢ (as refered to in Gupta, 2000). The inquiry is, does the choice to search for work an individual selection of ladies? Clearly such a supposition keeps one from asking why ladies continue working when their pay rates are truly nonsensical; such a choice may uncover an inefficient utilization of their capacities; and ladies are precluded by advertise powers to boost advantages or comes back to their own speculation (for example in struction). The investment of ladies in the work showcase isn't seen as a positive contribution to monetary advancement; it is fairly observed as making negative results for family work and national premium. Edgeworth advised that an immense populace of ladies in the work market would prompt ââ¬Å"depression or disaster of industryâ⬠, a ââ¬Å"debacle, at last ruinous the same to riches and family lifeâ⬠(Kuiper and Sap, 1995, 19). Be that as it may, one of the most intense pundits of womenââ¬â¢s work is William Stanley Jevons. He cautions about the impact of work on the family unit duties of ladies and on paces of newborn child mortality. Incomprehensibly, the answers for such problems recognized by the purported ââ¬Ëfree marketââ¬â¢ financial analysts are to a great extent affected by draconian contribution in current work showcase circumstances. Edgeworth bolstered the reinforcing of hindrances to womenââ¬â¢s business, and Marshall upheld up the Factory Act s. Jevons was harsher, supporting the sanctioning of the complete oversight of moms of kids matured three and underneath from production lines (Kuiper and Sap, 1995, 19-20). Moreover, where Pigou upheld state contribution to cure showcase glitch in the business area, ladies were straightforwardly rejected. In particular, Jevons contended that moms of little youngsters ought to be restricted from working in production lines, a standard which is thought to ensure that childrenââ¬â¢s right and government assistance were defended. In 1882 Jevons called this topic ââ¬Ëthe work of youngster bearing ladies from homeââ¬â¢ as ââ¬Å"the most significant inquiry contacting the connection of the State to work which remains unsolvedâ⬠(Peart, 1996, 143). Since the support of these ladies in the work advertise disposed of newborn children to ââ¬Å"that scourge of baby life, the messy parasite bearing bottleâ⬠(Peart, 1996, 143), clearly exhaustive arrangement was required. Th e ills identified with harsh strategy were for this situation ââ¬Ëoverbalance[d]ââ¬â¢ by the ââ¬Ëinfanticideââ¬â¢ that emerged from unhindered activity (Ege and Igersheim, 2011, 97): The protest may no uncertainty be made, that the rejection of childbearing ladies from works in open processing plants would be another and extraordinary instance of obstruction with the regular freedom of the individualâ⬠¦ But I dare to keep up that all these alleged common elements, standards, rules, speculations, adages, and such, are at the best yet assumptions or probabilities of good. There is, in general, a certain

Downfall of Macbeth Essay Example for Free
Destruction of Macbeth Essay The awfulness of ââ¬Å"Macbeth, by William Shakespeare, follows the fall of Macbeth from a man in a place of intensity with a placated life, to a man with only ââ¬Å"mouth honorâ⬠and a tainted soul. In this exposition, I wish to show to what degree Macbethââ¬â¢s catastrophe was his own deficiency. The defeat of Macbeth starts at an opportune time in the play when he and Banquo (a kindred Scottish respectable) meet the witches. The witches waylay Macbeth and Banquo while they were en route to meet Duncan, King of Scotland. They choose to tune in to the witches, out of sheer interest. The three witches welcome Macbeth as ââ¬Å"Thane of Glamisâ⬠, the title he as of now holds, and start to advise the two nobles of what might be on the horizon, and predictions that Macbeth will become Thane of Cawdor, and the King of Scotland. Macbeth solicits how they know from his present title, and snickers at the accompanying two predictions. The witches disregard his inquiries, and tell Banquo of how he won't be above all else, however his children will be rulers. Rather than simply overlooking the witches, the announcement of his present title interests Macbeth and he follows the witches to attempt to get them to reveal to him more. Stay you blemished speakers, let me know moreâ⬠says Macbeth, demonstrating that he is for sure intrigued by what the witches need to state. The witches vanish, and Macbeth excuses them, and he and Banquo head out. The witches appearance, and Macbeth turning out to be charmed may add up to his ruin, however I accept that they were only the ââ¬Ëhelping handââ¬â¢ for Macbeth whoââ¬â¢s own feeble will and different occasions where the impetus for his inevitable demise. Now, Macbeth is as yet an exceptionally regarded man, and is going to get more regard from Duncan, for protecting Scotland from the attacking powers of Norway. The emissaries who tell Duncan of Macbethââ¬â¢s deeds depict him as a man of extraordinary fearlessness, who indicated no dread in the fights. Duncan sends a delivery person to tell Macbeth of his prize for his incredible deeds. Two couriers to welcome Macbeth with the updates on Duncanââ¬â¢s reward: he is to be made Thane of Cawdor. ââ¬Å"Why do you dress me in obtained robes? â⬠asks the alarmed Macbeth, as the delegates start to clarify how the last Thane of Cawdor was helping the Norwegians attack. Aside, he says, ââ¬Å"Two facts are told, as upbeat introductions to the growing actâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ clearly identifying with the initial two predictions the witches made. He currently asks Banquo, aside, regardless of whether he accepts the witches now that Macbethââ¬â¢s second prediction has worked out as expected. Banquo says he is careful and that he truly doesnââ¬â¢t need anything to do with these witches, however he will simply kick back and let the predictions run their course. Macbeth apparently chooses to follow Banquoââ¬â¢s thought, and settles on a concurrence with himself ââ¬Å"If chance will make them lord, why, chances may crown me, without my stirâ⬠. Macbeth chooses to keep in touch with his better half and advise her of his new title, a deadly slip-up as I would see it, since his significant other responds exactly in an absolutely unforeseen manner. Out of nowhere, Lady Macbeth chooses to make a push to get her significant other to put forth the attempt to satisfy the third prescience. Then, Duncan names his child as the following ruler, and Macbeth turns out to be harsh, and looks towards the predictions for his best course of action; ââ¬Å"That is a stage on which I should tumble down, or, more than likely oââ¬â¢erleapâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ Clearly Macbeth has concluded that he will now ââ¬Ëstirââ¬â¢, and make some transition to become lord. Back with Lady Macbeth at Macbethââ¬â¢s mansion, she is perusing Macbethââ¬â¢s letter. She finds out about his new title, and the notices of the witchesââ¬â¢ predictions. Woman Macbeth first beginnings off by contemplating how she can get her significant other to turn into a lord, and infers that sheââ¬â¢ll need to put forth some attempt to get her better half to take the necessary steps to persuade him to be above all else. An envoy, who brings news that Duncan wishes to remain at Macbethââ¬â¢s manor, intrudes on her contemplations. Woman Macbeth chooses, in a flash, that she will convince her significant other to execute Duncan so he can become lord. While in her considerations, Macbeth gets back. They talk, and Lady Macbeth raises the subject of disposing of Duncan so he can be the best. Macbeth seems stunned in spite of the fact that was subtly thinking something very similar, and attempts to excuse the thought. Underneath, in any case, he needs to oblige the thought so he can become ruler. His fundamental thought processes become clear when he concludes that he will do the malevolent thing, and is going to execute Duncan. ââ¬Å"We will talk further,â⬠he says, making his aims obvious to the crowd. Albeit uncertain, he won't thoroughly excuse the thought, and is in any event, thinking about it. Woman Macbeth currently realizes that she includes him inside her grip, nd she will presently ensure that she wins him totally finished. As I would see it, not making his psyche up makes an opportunity for Lady Macbeth. She sees this vulnerability and later endeavors his reluctance to decide. A brief time later, Duncan shows up, joined by the entirety of his Thanes. They all dining experience, and drink to the accomplishment of the fight against Norway. As the night wears on, Macbeth needs to time to mull over the outcomes of killing Duncan. Macbeth settles on the ethical choice not to continue saying; ââ¬Å"We will continue no further around here. He (Duncan) hath respected me recently, and I have purchased brilliant feelings from a wide range of individuals, which would be worn now in the most current gleam, not throw away so soonâ⬠. Macbeth endeavors to give pardon for not continuing, however neglects to give any legitimate explanations behind it. The main preferred position he sees for not slaughtering Duncan is that he regards him, and by murdering him it would disregard him. I accept this is definitely not a substantial explanation behind submitting murder, and shows Macbethââ¬â¢s basic desire to become ruler. By advancing succinct reasons Macbeth makes his aspiration exceptionally obvious to the peruser. Woman Macbeth isn't influenced by his unfortunate reasons, and she realizes that covertly, Macbeth needs very similar things she does. While trying to persuade Macbeth to proceed with the arrangement, she first abuse his masculinity ââ¬Å"When you durst do it, you were a man; And to be more than what you were, you would be a lot more the manâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ and blames him for being fainthearted for not staying on track. She at that point assaults his personality further by saying ââ¬Å"From this time such I account thy loveâ⬠and blames him for not cherishing her. For Macbeth, this is the last bit of trouble that will be tolerated, and he surrenders. Woman Macbeth designs the homicide. At the point when Macbeth goes to kill Duncan, he despite everything questions himself, and even beginnings considering things to be he approaches Duncanââ¬â¢s room. After submitting the homicide, Macbeth ends up in a state. Woman Macbeth endeavors to tidy him up, and cause him to show up well, yet now Macbeth has lost all control. This homicide of Duncan prompts the devastation of Macbeth. Mindful of any conceivable restriction, Macbeth starts spying and killing individuals. There are additionally mental issues that Macbeth has which lead to his annihilation. This is appeared by his concise franticness after Banquoââ¬â¢s murder when he sees Banquoââ¬â¢s phantom. The disaster closes when Macbeth is killed by Macduff who, with numerous others, get some answers concerning what terrible things Macbeth has done. Macbeth starts to get distrustful about Banquo, and feels that he ought to be murdered to prevent him from being uncovered. ââ¬Å"So is he mine; and in such bleeding separation that each snapshot of his being pushes against my closest life;â⬠Macbeth says, mindful that the best way to genuinely quiet Banquo is to have him executed. At the dinner scene, Macbeth sees Banquoââ¬â¢s apparition, demonstrating that he has to be sure gone distraught. Indeed, even in craziness, he feels regretful. ââ¬Å"Avaunt, and quit my sight! Let the earth stow away thee! â⬠he says, his still, small voice following up on him and demonstrating his regret. Macbeth has at last gone distraught, and it was all because of his aspiration and need to be above all else. He proceeds to turn out to be totally malevolent, as he visits the witches over and over, looking for comfort for his violations, and answers to his approaching fate. He starts to quit feeling regret and blame for his activities, and inevitably turns into a pitiless, bent man. His significant other becomes sick, and he shows no empathy towards her, rather saying everything would be better once she is dead. This is close to the finish of the play and where Macbeth gradually comes back from his abhorrent side, feeling regret for his activities at long last. At the point when the English armed force and Macduff advance on his château he turns into the valiant Macbeth indeed, and when he at last comes to battle Macduff, he has returned to the fearless and intense Macbeth toward the beginning of the play. With his better half dead, he feels increasingly ready to do what he needs. The principle individuals to fault for Macbethââ¬â¢s disaster were his better half, and Macbeth himself, and this is demonstrated entirely through the play (Lady Macbeth willing him to kill, Macbeth being effectively persuaded and so on) there some disastrous conditions that added to Macbethââ¬â¢s ruin, for example, Duncan making his child lord rather than Macbeth, and Duncan placing his trust in Macbeth by going to his mansion, however none were as major a reason as Macbethââ¬â¢s character flaw and his manipulative spouse. To finish up, the fault for Macbethââ¬â¢s catastrophe ought to be put on his head and his wifeââ¬â¢s, because of his character imperfection (desire and a feeble will) and her convincingness (pushing him to satisfy his aspiration). The mix of these two imperfections and Duncan remaining at Macbethââ¬â¢s manor made the whole play and disaster unfurl.

Role Religion and Science - Free Essay Example
Religion and science have always played a role in each other, some of the scientific facts are listed in several books of the Bible that prove these facts way before we discovered them and documented them as a scientific facts. ââ¬Å"The earth free-floats in space (Job 26:7), affected only by gravity. While other sources declared the earth sat on the back of an elephant or turtle, or was held up by Atlas, the Bible alone states what we now know to be true ââ¬â ââ¬Å"He hangs the earth on nothing.â⬠(101 scientific facts 1). This proves Isaac Newtonââ¬â¢s theory of gravity is true based on how the earth is held up by gravity and the gravitational pull around the sun keeps the time changing and flowing in a circular circumference. Isaac Newtonââ¬â¢s theory is just one of many science discoveries found in the Bible. Another one would be the atom which was first mentioned in the Bible in Hebrews. ââ¬Å"Creation is made of particles, indiscernible to our eyes (Hebrews 11:3). Not until the 19th century was it discovered that all visible matter consists of invisible elements.â⬠(101 scientific facts 1). JJ Thompson founded the atom and came up with the plum pudding model in 1897 but the Bible listed it centuries before the initial discovery of the atom and sub atomic particles. Another discovery that is listed in the Bible but found out in the past 150 years was the discovery of Blood and how it was essential to life itself and how it was key to be needed to sustain life itself. In Leviticus chapter 17 verse 14 it states that theâ⬠ââ¬Å"for it is the life of all flesh. Its blood sustains its life. Therefore, I said to the children of Israel, ââ¬ËYou shall not eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.ââ¬â¢ With this statement the Bible states that the Blood is essential to life itself but do not eat of the blood because then you would be considered a cannibal, and which is deemed unholy by the Bible. Another discovery found in the Bible was the Law of Thermodynamics, which was discovered in the Book of Genesis chapter 2 verses 1-2 which states ââ¬Å"Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.â⬠(New king James Version 1). The laws of Thermodynamics were founded by Rudolf Clausius and William Thomson in 1850 which they state that the total energy is conserved with the First Law of Thermodynamics and the and the second law of thermodynamics state heat does not spontaneously flow from a colder body to a hotter. With the Biblical verse stating that the creation was the First sign of Th ermodynamics and that God rested on the 7th day after he created everything on the earth and the universe. The vast number of stars that were described in the Bible was first written in the book of Jeremiah chapter 33 verse 22 states ââ¬Å"ââ¬ËAs the host of heaven cannot be numbered, nor the sand of the sea measured, so will I multiply the descendants of David My servant and the Levites who minister to Me.ââ¬â¢?â⬠(nkjv 1). and stated that there were too many to be seen by the human eye. It wasnââ¬â¢t until Galileo first used the telescope in 1608 and discovered many stars at the time but and a few years later in 1610 was his greatest discovery when he discovered Jupiter and the four moons that orbit the great gas giant. There was another verse in the Bible, Psalm chapter 147 verse 4, that compares the number of stars to the grains of sand on a beach that there are too many too name but God himself knew exactly how many there were and the names of the stars individually. Another passage in the Bible states that the Flood had happened, and fossils and impressions left from the greatest disaster in human history. The extinction of the dinosaurs was the biggest loss from the Flood and their fossils can be found all throughout the world and one of the reasons they are not here today is because of the flood itself. In Genesis 7 it states that the earth was covered in water for 40 days and 40 nights and only one man and his family survived so they could repopulate the earth after God had judged mankind for the sins that they had committed. Even though Noah had 2 of every animal on board of the ark, I believe that the dinosaurs were made extinct for a reason. Creationist will argue that this theory is correct based on what happens in the Bible and there is physical evidence showing that the fossils are remnants of a great Flood. Another passage that states about the hydrological cycle or rain water is stated in the Book of Job chapter 36 verses 36-37, ââ¬Å"Four thousand years ago the Bible declared that God ââ¬Å"draws up drops of water, which distill as rain from the mist, which the clouds drop down and pour abundantly on manâ⬠The ancients observed mighty rivers flowing into the ocean, but they could not conceive why the sea level never rose. Though they observed rainfall, they had only quaint theories as to its origin. Meteorologists now understand that the hydrological cycle consists of evaporation, atmospheric transportation, distillation, and precipitation.â⬠(101 scientific facts 1). The hydrological cycle was discovered by the ancient Greek, Bernard Palissy, who was credited for discovering the process of rain precipitation and how the rain is drawn up to the heavens by evaporation and how it rains again to renew the source of the rain.

Foreign Investment in Australia
Question: Discuss about theForeign Investment in Australia. Answer: Introduction Foreign Investment can be defined as an investment of one company belonging to a nation on the assets and ownership of stakes in another company belonging to a different nation. In other words, it is an investment made on overseas businesses to expand the operations over the globe (Drabek and Mavroidis 2013). With increased globalisation, it has become common for large companies to invest on businesses situated in other countries to seek comparative advantages. On the other hand, foreign investment is also considered profitable for the recipient country (Garnett 2015). The domestic practices are converted into international strategies with introduction of foreign investment and growth of globalisation. The most beneficial impact of foreign investment is the reduction in the need for savings. The domestic entrepreneurs do not need to save more amount of money in terms of retained earnings to expand their businesses. There is an easy availability of foreign funds that increases the potential growth opportunities in the country. Potential Problems Arising From Foreign Investment Developed economies such as Australia may find foreign investment a bit difficult in context to the existing economic performance. Understandably, foreign investment brings possible significant issues to an economy as discussed in this particular study paper. First of all, the cost of foreign investment can be recognised through the change in transfer pricing within an enterprise. Meanwhile, transfer price is a setting that controls the price of the products and services put up for sale between the legal entities within a firm (PARRY 2013). For instance, if a subsidiary business of an enterprise has sold any product or services to its parent firm, the cost paid to the subsidiary business has been identified as transfer pricing. In the case of foreign investment, the transfer pricing seems to be shifted creating issues for the management of the MNEs to deal with. Secondly, foreign investment develops monopoly business that is not significant for the health of an economy. Decisively, m onopoly businesses minimise the profit allocation to the different market operating firms creating issues in the market. Thirdly, the cost of foreign investment has created an adverse impact on the domestic SMEs and MNEs as the liquidity of the host country has been utilised for the economic progress of the another country. Therefore, the national interest can be an issue arise from foreign investment. Moreover, foreign investment has somewhat restricted the sovereignty of the host economy. Due to foreign investment, the rights of the governing bodies have been diluted to some extent as the investment creates an interface with other international economies (Nottage 2015). Last but not the least; foreign investment has created significant foreign debt for the host country. The rise in external debt can be problematic for any developed economy as the net foreign debt can create a negative effect on the Real GDP of the country. Foreign Investment in Australia In the last five years, a high level of foreign investment can be seen in the Australian market that increases the GDP of the nation to its top in the year 2013 at around $1550 billion. It can be seen from the statistical reports that the United States and the United Kingdom are the prime players in the Australian industry with 28.40 percent and 16.50 percent of foreign investment in the Australian market respectively ("Which Countries Invest In Australia?" 2016). A table has been presented below that shows the contribution of different countries through their foreign investment in the Australian market for further consideration. Foreign investment in Australia by country Rank Country AU$ billion % of total 1 United States $ 860.30 28.40% 2 United Kingdom $ 499.90 16.50% 3 Belgium $ 238.50 7.90% 4 Japan $ 199.60 6.60% 5 Singapore $ 98.60 3.30% 6 Hong Kong (SAR of China) $ 85.40 2.80% 7 China $ 74.90 2.50% 8 Netherlands $ 63.00 2.10% 9 Luxembourg $ 58.30 1.90% 10 Switzerland $ 50.20 1.70% 11 Germany $ 41.20 1.40% 12 New Zealand $ 39.70 1.30% 13 Canada $ 38.80 1.30% 14 Bermuda $ 25.90 0.90% 15 Republic of Korea $ 23.30 0.80% 16 Virgin Islands, British $ 22.90 0.80% 17 France $ 22.10 0.70% 18 Malaysia $ 20.50 0.70% 19 Ireland $ 18.40 0.60% 20 Cayman Islands $ 13.80 0.50% Source: ("Which Countries Invest In Australia?" 2016) The Australian domestic production has gradually increased after the global financial crisis due to increase in the foreign investment that has led to an increased competition in the current market scenario. It has made the Australian market saturated that has resulted in the fall of foreign investment in the country in the year 2015, which has also led to a fall in the GDP to $1339 billion (Garnett 2016). The current valuation of foreign investment in Australia stood at $3 trillion in the year 2015. On the other hand, the investment of India and China in Australia has increase to $12 billion and $75 billion in the year 2015. Furthermore, it is expected that the foreign investment will increase in the upcoming years due to the economic reforms made by the Australian government to attract foreign investors (Abhijnan 2015). Currently, the Australian government is working on the improvement of Australian education, tourism and sports industry to attract more foreign investment. A graphi cal presented of the above table is presented below for further understanding. Figure: Foreign investment in Australia by country Source: ("Which Countries Invest In Australia?" 2016) The Foreign Debt as a Problem The current economic environment of Australia has focused on the worries about foreign debt situation. The fundamentals of international trade promote foreign investment to increase the business standards of a developed economy around the world. Also, from economic perspective, economic activities of an economy needs significant borrowing to improve the normal trading standards. But, the monetary policy of Australia does not allow sufficient savings level to invest in the foreign economies (Bruns 2013). As a result of the scenario, the foreign investments of Australia are continuously increasing the pressure on the GDP. On the other hand, there is another vital issue attached to external debt situation. Currently, the debt repayments as a share of Gross Domestic Product made by the Australian government is significantly low in compared to the normal standards. Therefore, the foreign debt is kept mounting at a considerable rate (Thorpe, Leita and o 2014). If the trend of the foreign d ebt scenario has been followed since 1972, the net external debt is seemed to be crept up till 2015. Currently, Australias net foreign debt was recorded to be 60 percent of the GDP in 2015. Figure: Net foreign debt as a percentage of GDP, Australia Source: (Garnett 2015) Convincingly, the adverse effect of net foreign debts has other issues associated to be dealt with by the host country. As the borrowing of the economy has increased against lending, loan default situation can be increased. Invariably, loan defaults situation can decline the credit rating of the economy forcing unmanageable economic uncertainties (Kirchner 2012). In this way, further borrowing can be restricted due to credit rating decline. On the other hand, if the non-productive expenditure of government can contribute to the net foreign debt, fresh issues may arise. Conclusion Under the existing economy condition of Australia, large foreign companies are seemed to be mostly benefitted from the foreign direct investments. Hence, the outward FDI is technically hurting the host country to a significant impact. On a bigger perspective, for outstanding economic benefits, FDI has been identified as one of the important ways to improve the international trade facilities of a developed economy. As discussed in the study before, the United States and the United Kingdom have been recognised as the major foreign investing economies selected by Australia. On the other hand, based on the data sources of the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), it can be stated that the increasing FDI has added the pressure of net foreign debt to the economy. Currently, Australias net foreign debt was recorded to be 60 percent of the GDP in 2015. Meanwhile, the half of the net external debt has been contributed to federal, territory, state level government debt. However, Australia nee ds to improve the inward flow of FDI for further investment in the domestic industries. Additionally, FDI improves the standards of living of the country. Currently, the debt figure is manageable though the trend is increasing with time adding further pressure to GDP. Bibliography Abhijnan, M. 2015.
